Mayo football star Aidan O’Shea has married his long-term partner, Kristin McKenzie Vass.

The pair tied the knot on Friday, with the nuptials taking place in Muckross Park Hotel, county Kerry, Ms McKenzie Vass’s home county.

The newly-weds, who have been together for seven-years, were congratulated by their guests at the bash, including several members of the Mayo team.

The bride, a model and business consultant, looked stunning in an elegant floor length dress from The Suite Bride in Dublin, while the groom was locally kitted out by Castlebar suit specialists, Doherty For Men.

Snaps of the celebrations have made their way onto social media as the couple shared a video by wedding videographer Lisa O’Donoghue (Muse of Marquise) to their combined 95.3 thousand Instagram followers, simply captioned ‘09.08.24’.

There were outfit changes for the couple, with the bride beauty changing into a second gown, and Mr O’Shea switching his black tuxedo to a white jacket for the reception.

The wedding comes one year after the Mayo forward proposed to his long-term girlfriend at Ashford Castle.

Ms McKenzie Vass showed off her new diamond to her large social media audience with the caption: ‘It’s happening…. Big fat ‘YES’ from me @aidoxi #engaged’.

The couple met ‘randomly’ on a night out in Dublin in 2017.
