Over past 18 months, visual artists of all kinds have been putting paint to canvas, hands to clay, eye to the camera and more. Now, they have the opportunity to show off the art they created during this strange period, as the Mayo Artists Show is making a welcome return this December.
Following almost two years of lockdowns and restrictions the Linenhall Arts Centre and Ballina Arts Centre are joining forces once again to celebrate the depth and breadth of visual art talent in our wonderful county. As per previous years, the exhibition will take place over both venues, and and submissions are open to everyone over the age of 18 who makes visual art (in any discipline) and who is from, or currently lives in, Mayo.
As always, the show will be selected and curated by an external curator, the identity of whom will be announced in the coming weeks.
The exhibition will run from Friday, December 3, in both venues. Launch details will be confirmed later this year.
