MUSIC Headford to host a music festival on Easter Saturday

Five bands, including This Nachez, will play in Headford town hall on April 7 for Headstock – a one-day festival of music
Move over Woodstock

Headford will come alive on Easter Saturday, April 7, when no less than five bands will come together in the town hall for Headstock – a one-day festival to remember. The stage will become a showcase for the hidden talent lurking in this seemingly sleepy satellite town.
Most festival line-ups consist of a certain genre of bands to suit the crowd at the time of performance. Not so Headstock. Headliners, Galway electro-dance-rock This Nachez, will be backed up by blues-rock band Sneaky Pint, indie band The Metrognomes, rock bands Next Exit and 9 Ideas.
Anyone interested in a more relaxed atmosphere can head to a separate seated area, where hot food will be served and people can enjoy a chat and still feel part of the fun. This really is a festival where all generations can come together and hang out.
Entry to the festival, which kicks off at 1.30pm, costs just €5. Sure you wouldn’t get an Easter egg for that.
