Castlebar all set for spooky spectacle at Horror in the Barracks

Get ready for spine-tingling thrills and chills at the upcoming the hugely popular Horror in the Barracks event, where your screams are not just for fun, but also for a noble cause.

This spine-tingling experience is set to take place at the historic Military Barracks, Castlebar, from tomorrow, Friday, October 27th from 7pm to 10pm for children over 12 and adults, On Sunday, October 29 from 4pm to 6pm, there will have a spooky experience for children under 12 accompanied by an adult and the full show for adults and children over 12 again from 7pm to 10pm.

Horror in the Barracks is a volunteer-run event that brings thrilling scares and chills to Castlebar. This annual event aims to provide a scary experience for all ages while raising funds for various local community initiatives. It is a unique opportunity to enjoy the spooky season and make a positive impact on the community. All proceeds from this event will go towards the following worthy causes: Ballyheane AFC Pitch Development, Ballyheane Community Council, Breaffy LGFA, Castlebar Autism Friendly Town, Castlebar Community Clean Up, Castlebar Mitchels Hurling Club, Castlebar Tidy Towns, Davitt College, Mayo Autism Camp, Order of Malta, St Gerald’s DSL College and St Joseph's Secondary School
