Minister for Justice, Helen McEntee, TD
MINISTER for Justice, Helen McEntee, TD, will visit Mayo on Tuesday, July 25, and Wednesday, July 26.
The minister’s visit aims to strengthen community support and law enforcement efforts in the county.
During her visit, Minister McEntee will visit the Mayo Women's Support Services’ Refuge in Castlebar to discuss the government’s commitment to supporting victims of domestic violence.
She will also meet with local youth leaders from the Community Youth Action Project (CYAP) to discuss the government’ s commitment to investing in youth development and support services.
The Fine Gael minister will also be given a tour of the Divisional Garda Headquarters for Mayo/Roscommon/Longford in Castlebar, where she will meet with local Gardaí.
She will also visit Westport House and meet with local community leaders to discuss well-being of the Mayo community.
Mayo TD Alan Dillon has extended his gratitude to Minister McEntee for taking the time to visit Mayo.
The Fine Gael TD stated that he ‘looks forward to productive discussions that will contribute to building safer, stronger and more supportive communities for the people of our county’.
