AN IRISH man in his thirties is helping Gardaí with their enquiries after they seized a large quantity of cocaine in Westport in a raid at the weekend.
The discovery took place on Friday night when gardaí searched a private house in Westport, and seized cocaine believed to be worth between €5,000 and €10,000. An Irish man in the house at the time of the seizure is helping Gardaí with their enquiries.
This is another significant discovery of cocaine for the Gardaí in the Westport District following the raid on a residence last June, which yielded what Gardaí at the time believed were drugs with  a street value of €15,000.
