A man who died in a road accident near Newcastlewest in Co Limerick last Wednesday had resided for the past five years at Lowpark, Charlestown.

TRAGEDY
A man who died in a road accident near Newcastlewest in Co Limerick last Wednesday had resided for the past five years at Lowpark, Charlestown. Kevin Doherty (36) lost his life when his car was in collision with another on the N21.
His father Jimmy, a retired garda, was a native of Cashel, Charlestown and served in the Ballinasloe area for many years. A brother of Kevin was killed some years ago in a motorbike accident. Their uncle Padraig Doherty resides in the family homeplace near Charlestown. Kevin was laid to rest in Ballinasloe.
