Donor kebab and chips. Always hits the spot.
Who’s your ideal date?
It has to be my girlfriend, Marie.
What makes you nervous?
Brian McDermott going for a shot from 40 yards. God knows where it will end up.
What’s been your worst holiday?
Getting my back sunburnt in Miami in January 2013. I forgot the Factor 50 that day.
Biggest messer in the dressing-room?
Keegan is a dangerous man with Snapchat. Always looking to catch someone off guard. That phone is never too far from his hand
What do you miss most about being a kid?
Not paying bills and kicking football around Fahy pitch with the neighbours.
What’s your most prized possession?
My medals I’ve won this year with the club so far. I’ll hopefully be adding one more to the collection.
Most under-rated player in Mayo club football?
Niall ‘Glue’ McManamon. You can’t help but feel sorry for the corner forwards. It’s all over before it even starts.
Last time you cried?
The final whistle of the Kenmare match. A special feeling with a special bunch.
Best thing about being a Westport player?
Knowing I’m running out onto Croke Park with my best friends.
Worst thing about being a Westport player?
Those ‘10 seconds on’ and ‘10 seconds off’ runs on St Stephen’s day went down a treat.
Best advice you ever got?
Be patient, good things come to the people that wait.

Chocolate digestives, sun glasses, Factor 50.
Favourite Mayo footballer when you were a kid?
Ciaran McDonald. For his fantastic skill set and sheer strength. Made passing a ball off the left foot look effortless.
