Northwood Technology Ltd is enjoying rapid development across the country, the company prides itself on its unique ability to consult, design, deliver and support the most extensive range of security systems from the most sophisticated digital CCTV technologies to lower level systems available to smaller companies, schools, colleges, health centres etc. With global brands such as the renowned Canadian manufactured Avigilon and the ever popular Dahua range, Northwood is geared to meet all requirements in CCTV, intruder, access and in fire systems.
Local businessman Padraic Cafferty, Chairman and co-founder of Northwood Technology with Paul Hennessy, Managing Director, says that the industry is now experiencing growth across all sectors with new businesses requiring the very latest technologies, and existing businesses such as retail shops, service stations, hotels and leisure industries looking for upgraded retrofit installations.
The recently publicised crime wave targeting farms and isolated houses and sole trader businesses in rural Ireland has brought a new demand for security protection systems.
It is now becoming commonplace to have installers looking for specially tailored packages for these new requirements.
Northwood’s loyal customer base are availing of their training and live demonstration facility available at their headquarters in Glasnevin and at their recently opened Cork facility.
Installers have been telling Northwood that their customers are now demanding to see the technology first hand, before a significant investment decision is made.
