Medals aplenty for Mayo in Athlone


MAYO Community Games competitors enjoyed considerable success at the HSE National Community Games May Festival of Sport at Athlone IT last weekend.
Medals were secured in the mixed distance relay, swimming, badminton, handball, indoor soccer, art, model-making, cycling, duathalon, gymnastics and table tennis.
Mayo Community Games would like to express their thanks to the Mayo participants who produced excellent displays of skill in their  chosen activities over the weekend.
The games were  a wonderful success for every Mayo participant and much credit must go to the trainers, mentors, families and officials from the county who volunteered their time so generously  to the development of the games.
