The 16 Mayo candidates: Profiles on all General Election contestants

ELECTION CHANCES: It was third time lucky for the Ballycroy native when she was elected to Dáil Éireann in 2020 with an unprecedented level of support for a Sinn Féin candidate in Mayo. She was elected on the first count with 14,633 votes. It is highly unlikely that she will reach that level of support on November 29, especially after Sinn Féin chose to run Cllr Gerry Murray alongside her. However barring a total collapse of her vote, Conway-Walsh's level of support within the county should be enough for her to hold onto her seat.
