Many questions could be asked of the calibre of the Roscommon team Andy Moran, Colm Boyle, Paddy Tally and company had to contend with, but their team shone.

The National League is an invaluable place to give players a chance in serious inter-county fare, and Moran did that with great success today.

The like of Livingstone, Howard, Duffy and O’Loughlin got invaluable minutes, while the substitutes certainly put their hands up for selection.

The feel-good factor needed a shot in the arm after Tralee, and it got it today.
