The 'Drop Allianz' protest will take place before the Mayo-Armagh clash in Round Five of the National Football League Division One in MacHale Park, Castlebar

Ahead of Mayo’s league game this Sunday in Castlebar, there will be a protest taking place prior to the game which will take place outside the MacHale Park grounds.

Mayo IPSC are organising the protest which will be against Allianz who are sponsors of the National Football League.

Spokesperson John McDonagh and other members are calling on the GAA to drop Allianz. The protest will take place at the Albany end which is across from the Marian Shrine. Those wishing to attend are encouraged to assemble at 11 am.

Prior to the Mayo and Dublin clash, there was a similar protest where the protesters outside MacHale Park asked GAA supporters to share the “Drop Allianz” campaign on social media and to bring their information to local clubs to be raised at county level.
