On Sunday, those Mayo fans who braved the trek to Saint Tiernach's Park in Clones witnessed history, as Kobe McDonald announced himself in senior inter-county football in style.

The teenage Crossmolina cub was first-rate as he tore into Monaghan, and his 1-4 return from the bench will go down in folklore.
