With the clock slowly ticking down as multiple Mayo schools prepare to set of in search of All-Ireland glory, excitement has reached a fresh peak following the release of the fixtures for the upcoming All-Ireland semi-finals.
In total, four schools with heavy Mayo representation are in action on Saturday against Munster opposition, knowing a win could see them one hour from lifting the ultimate glory.
First, we'll touch on Saint Gerald's. The Castlebar students were on cloud nine just last Friday as they defeated Saint Muredach's of Ballina to secure Connacht 'A' glory.
Now, in the joust to win the Hogan Cup, they will travel to the TUS Midwest Campus, a stone's throw from Thomond Park, to take on Kerry side Tralee CBS. Throw-in in that one is at 12.30 pm.
Just 90 minutes later in the same city, Saint Nathy's of Ballaghaderreen will fly the Connacht flag with plenty of Mayo representation, having earned the right after besting The Bish in Bekan in the provincial 'B' decider.
At the University of Limerick South Campus, Cork side Mount Saint Michael, Rosscarbery, making their way from one of the most southern points in the country, will provide the opposition. That one gets underway at 2 pm.
An hour on, slightly north in Clarecastle, just outside Ennis, Balla Secondary School will do battle with another Cork side, Carrigaline Secondary School, in the All-Ireland 'C' semi.
The clash of the Connacht kings, who got the better of Gortnor Abbey, Crossmolina, and Munster's champions, is pencilled in for a 4 pm start.
The 'D' last-four meeting of Saint Brendan's, Belmullet, and Rice College of Ennis, is a little closer to home for Mayo GAA enthusiasts looking to get in on the action.
Two weeks on from defeating Saint Tiernan's of Crossmolina in Bonniconlon, the Erris nation will touch down in the Connacht Centre of Excellence, Bekan, for a 2.30 pm throw-in.
