It wasn't just a successful National Football League opener for two Mayo GAA players.

They were named in the official GAA team of the Week.

Ballina Stephenites half-back Sam Callinan was named after a brilliant performance against the Tribesmen in Salthill on Sunday.

Alongside him, goal-keeper Robbie Hennelly, who contributed three crucial two-point frees for Mayo in Andy Moran's first competitive match as senior football manager.
