McCarney was putting her Sunday morning opponents under the cosh at both ends of the field, and team manager Pop Geraghty was loving what he was seeing.
Her penalty just after half-time helped underscore Westport's superiority and killed off the game, as she sent Julia Gawalkievicz the wrong way.
