PERMUTATIONS: Teams fight for Mayo LGFA Junior Championships glory

The Claremorris 'B' side from last weekend's Mayo LGFA Junior 'B' Club Football Championship

This weekend looks primed for some serious showdowns, as the battles for the Mayo LGFA Junior and Junior 'B' Club Championships reach their third round.

This weekend, names will rise to the occasion and teams will fall in the hunt for glory. Here, we've worked out precisely what each club needs to stay afloat.

The rulebook states the following:

In the event of two sides finishing level on points, the head-to-head will determine who finishes higher in the table. Then, it goes to the highest number of points (ie, scores over the bar), then score difference (walkovers are not deemed to have an impact on score difference), then the lowest number of scores conceded.

In the event that three or more sides finish level, the score difference will determine who finishes higher in the table. Then, it goes to the highest number of points (ie, scores over the bar), then the highest total score (goals and points). Should two sides be level at that point, then the head-to-head will come into play. If those two sides have drawn, then the team in the higher postition will be the side who have conceded the fewest goals.
