PERMUTATIONS: Who advances and who risks drop in Mayo SFC

The final round of fixtures in the Mayo GAA Senior Football Championship could produce some crackers.

Knockmore face Mayo Gaels on the last day, while Balla and Westport will square off.

Knockmore:

If Knockmore beat Mayo Gaels, and Westport draw or lose, they will finish top of the group.

If Knockmore win and Westport win, who finishes second will come down to scoring difference, where Knockmore hold a four-point advantage at present.

If Knockmore draw and Balla win, they will top the group.

If Knockmore draw and Westport win, they will finish second.

If both games end in a draw, they will top the group.

If Knockmore lose, they will finish second.

Westport:

If Westport win and Knockmore lose or draw, they'll top the group.

If Westport win and Knockmore win, who finishes second will come down to scoring difference, where Knockmore hold a four-point advantage at present.

If both games end in a draw, they will finish second.

If Westport draw and Knockmore win, they will finish second.

If Westport draw and Mayo Gaels win, Westport will top the group.

Balla:

If Balla win and Knockmore lose, they'll be in first place.

If Balla win and Knockmore win or draw, they'll be in second place.

If Balla-Westport ends in a draw, Balla finish in third place.

If Balla lose, they are guaranteed third place.

Mayo Gaels:

Mayo Gaels are guaranteed to be in the relegation playoffs.
