Almost every single positions in all four groups is up fort grabs as the battle to reach the knockouts reaches a tantalising finale

PERMUTATIONS: Who advances and who risks drop in Mayo SFC

The final round of fixtures in the Mayo GAA Senior Football Championship could produce some crackers.

On the last day, Breaffy face Belmullet, while Aghamore go toe-to-toe with Castlebar Mitchels.

Belmullet:

If Belmullet win or draw, they top the group.

If Belmullet lose, they will finish second.

Breaffy:

If Breaffy win, they will top the group.

If Breaffy draw and Aghamore win, who finishes second will come down to scoring difference, where Breaffy hold a three-point advantage at present.

If Breaffy draw and Castlebar Mitchels win, who finishes second will come down to scoring difference, where Breaffy hold a six-point advantage at present.

If Breaffy draw and the other game ends in a draw, they will finish second.

If Breaffy lose and either Aghamore or Castlebar Mitchels win, they will finish third.

If Breaffy lose and Aghamore-Castlebar Mitchels ends in a draw, who finishes second will come down to scoring difference between the three. If Breaffy lose by one or two points, they will finish second.

If they lose by three points, they will finish level on points difference with Aghamore, and it will come down to points scored, then goals scored, then goals scored against.

If they lose by four or five points, they will finish third. If they lose by six points, they will finish level on points difference with Castlebar Mitchels, and it will come down to points scored, then goals scored, then goals scored against.

If they lose by seven or more points, they will be in the relegation playoff.

Aghamore:

If Aghamore win and Breaffy lose, they will finish second.

If Aghamore win and Breaffy draw, who finishes second will come down to scoring difference, where Breaffy hold a three-point advantage at present. 

If Aghamore draw and Breaffy lose, who finishes second will come down to scoring difference, where Breaffy hold a three-point advantage at present.

If Aghamore draw and Breaffy draw or win, they will finish third.

If Aghamore lose, they will be in the relegation playoffs.

Castlebar Mitchels:

If Castlebar Mitchels win and Breaffy lose, they will finish second.

If Castlebar Mitchels win and Breaffy draw, who finishes second will come down to scoring difference, where Breaffy hold a six-point advantage at present.

If Castlebar Mitchels and Aghamore draw, and Breaffy lose by seven points or more, they will finish third.

If Castlebar Mitchels and Aghamore draw, and Breaffy lose by six points or less, they will finish in the relegation playoffs.

If Castlebar Mitchels lose, they will be in the relegation playoffs.
