Donegal and Kerry will meet in Croke Park with a chance to bring Sam Maguire back to their own little slice of the Atlantic coast for 2025.
Fellow Atlantic-siders Mayo will be glued to their screens watching the game, and one Mayo man who will be in GAA HQ broadcasting around the globe as part of RTÉ's panel is Lee Keegan.
In his RTÉ Sport column, he had no shortage of praise for both sides.
"The final provides us with a classic contrast in styles: Donegal's relentless hard-running power versus Kerry's kicking game," the multiple All-Star winner penned.
In his mind, the fortunes of the Kingdom revolve mostly around the ability of Jim McGuinness to keep the ever-irrepressible David Clifford quiet.
For Donegal, the Westport native spoke of the relentless power, pace, and endurance of Donegal in transition.
Keegan may have been well-able to dish out praise to both sides. However, calling a winner proved a more difficult endeavour.
"As of now, I'll give a tentative nod to Kerry.
"But that could change by the time we go live on air on Sunday."
