The Mayo GAA home jersey has been named as the best in the country.
The 2025 edition of the infamous Green and Red splashed jersey, which has captivated the hearts and minds of the county’s football-obsessed population.

The ranking, from balls.ie, ranked all 34 kits from the 32 counties of Ireland, as well as New York and London, from worst to best.
Neighbors Roscommon ranked bottom of the standings, while fellow Connacht rivals Galway placed in second, just behind Mayo.
“The clear winner in our eyes, this is an absolute stunner from Mayo,” balls.ie reporter Gary Connaughton said.
“The various elements blend together seamlessly, with the collar, sleeves, and main panel all working perfectly. The best home jersey of 2025.”
