MAYO footballers Eoin O’Donoghue and Jordan Flynn have been named on GAA.ie’s Football Team of the Week.
Flynn and O’Donoghue were both instrumental in securing Mayo’s first league win of the year when they beat Tyrone 0-12 0-10 on Sunday in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park.
O’Donoghue started the game at corner-back in his first appearance for the Mayo seniors since March 2024.
Flynn, meanwhile, made an impressive return to the green and red jersey after winning an All-Ireland intermediate club title with Crossmolina last month.
Meanwhile, five Mayo hurlers have been included in GAA.ie’s Hurling Team of The Week. Eoghan Collins, David Kenny, Liam Lavin, Shane Boland and John Heraty all made the fifteen following Mayo’s win over Cavan at the weekend.
Ray Larkin’s men maintained their unblemished Division 3 campaign by beating the Breffni men 1-23 to 2-14 in Tooreen.
