Another one we tipped for to play senior for Mayo. That was back in 2023 when she shot five goals in one game as Claremorris steamrolled their way to a county Minor A title.
In that same year, aged just 17, the Mount St Michael student starred for a Claremorris team that won Mayo and Connacht junior titles.
Standing at 5’8”, the Brickens bomber was the youngest member of our inaugural Mayo News Ladies Team of the Year.
How she’ll manage with some hardy Meath woman hanging out of her on a wet day in Navan remains to be seen.
