MAYO senior county champions Ballina Stephenties have launched a fundraiser to help fund their upcoming trip to London for the Connacht Senior Football Championship quarter-final.
Over €3,700 has already been donated to the GoFundMe page as the Stephenites prepare to face first-time London senior champions North London Shamrocks.
If victorious, Niall Heffernan’s side will face the Sligo champions in the provincial semi-final on the weekend of November 30/December 1. The winner will then play either Galway champions Corofin or Roscommon champions Padraig Pearses in the final.
Ballina Stephenites’ meeting with North London Shamrocks throws in at McGovern Park this Saturday, November 9, at 1.30pm.
