When the groups for the All-Ireland series became clear, the one big question on many Mayo supporter's lips was: Will they use Croke Park as a 'neutral' venue for the Dublin match?
The Mayo GAA County Board made their opinion known in requesting that the match not be played in Croke Park.
The GAA already confirmed, that it does not intend to hold any round robin games at that venue.
Last week Mayo GAA Secretary Ronan Kirrane was able to give an update: The Mayo-Dublin game will more than likely not be in Croke Park.
And today the final decision: The date for the match is Sunday, June 16.
The match will be played at Dr Hyde Park, Roscommon. Throw in: 15.45.
