Mayo Minor team to face Roscommon announced

MAYO Minor managers Tom Reilly and David Heaney have named their team to start their Connacht championship opener against Roscommon. 

Kobe McDonald, son of former Mayo footballer Ciarán McDonald, lines out at centre-forward in a match-day squad with representatives from 15 clubs, including; Crossmolina (4), Castlebar Mitchels (3) Westport (3) and Claremorris (2) while North Mayo is also represented by Owen Loughney (Lacken Sarsfields), Mark Sheeran (Lahardane MacHales) and Nathan Roddy (Ardnaree Sarsfields). 

The Mayo Minor team to start against Roscommon in the opening round of the Connacht GAA Minor Football Championship is as follows: Nathan Roddy (Ardnaree Sarsfields); Conor Coghill (Breaffy), Tom Hession (captain, Eastern Gaels), Daithi Butler (The Neale); David Hurley (Claremorris), Mark Noonan (vice-captain, Claremorris), Conor Kavanagh (Castlebar Mitchels); Josh Moyles (Crossmolina Deel Rovers), Owen Loughney (Lacken Sarsfields); Harry McHale (Castlebar Mitchels), Kobe McDonald (Crossmolina Deel Rovers), Dylan Flynn (Crossmolina Deel Rovers); Evan Walsh (Parke/Keelogues/Crimlin), Conor Moriarty (Ballaghadereen)
