The clock is inching ever closer to the Hogan Cup Final and a Croke Park date with destiny for Saint Colmans, Claremorris.

In this article, well try to give you the comprehensive run-down on every angle of this do-or-die clash, as the boys in red aim to bring the trophy to Mayo for only the second time in history.

The Hogan Cup Final throws in at 1 pm on Monday, March 17, in Croke Park.

Tickets are €20 for adults, €10 for OAPs, and €5 for juveniles, and they can be purchased from Ticketmaster here.

The game will be broadcast live on TG4s GAA Beo programme.

Who are St Colmans, Claremorris playing in the final?

Derry school St Pats, Maghera are waiting in the wings and will be looking to spoil the party. The Ulster champions are well-stacked, with five All-Ireland minor winners in their arsenal.

What players are ones to watch?

When running the rule over St Colmans, you cannot look past Darragh Beirne. As well as shouldering the shared responsibility of captaining the side, hes their fulcrum up top.

Elsewhere, Craig Cassidy has impressed thus far in midfield, and hell be licking his lips at the prospect of squaring up with Maghera’s Cathal McCaigue, who has regularly put on assured performances at number eight.

Up front, Cormac Óg McCloskey has shone for St Pats, and will likely put up an almighty battle with Rio Mortimer.

Who is refereeing the game?

Tyrone man Seán Hurson has been appointed as the man in the middle for Monday's tie. Hurson has no shortage of experience, having officiated the 2024 and 2022 All-Ireland senior football finals.
