St Colmans are set for a Croke Park date with destiny, as the details of the Mayo schools Hogan Cup Final have been confirmed.

The Claremorris school will be facing off in the All-Ireland final on Saint Patricks Day at the GAAs flagship ground as they bid for the sides first Hogan Cup win since 1977.

Goals were crucial as the boys in red triumphed over Coláiste Mhuire Mullingar last weekend, and now joint-captains Darragh Beirne and Rio Mortimer stand 60 minutes from climbing the steps of the Hogan Stand.

However, that will be no mean feat, as two talented sides are waiting in the wings.

Eoghan Collins side will be running over the eye of their potential opponents on Saturday, when Mercy Mounthawk and St Patricks, Maghera lock horns in Abbotstown.
