Students of Mayo dance school Danceworld are set to take to the stage in front of thousands at two major events in Castlebar in the coming weeks.

The group, established in 2000, have been given the chance to showcase their skills in TF Royal ahead of ‘Bitter Sweet - The Music of Sabrina Carpenter & Olivia Rodrigo’ on Monday, April 21.

The group will also perform before ‘Taylor Fever,’ the Taylor Swift tribute concert on Saturday, July 5.

Danceworld’s director, Áine Egan, expressed her joy at the decision to include her troupe in the two headline events in the county town.

"We’re over the moon to be added to the bill for these amazing events,” she stated. “Our students cannot wait to perform in the iconic TF Royal ahead of thousands of guests. We’re ready to put on the performance of a lifetime."

2025 is a momentous year for the school of dance as they celebrate their 25-year anniversary.
