ECO Powered Cabinets, a business founded by former Mayo Person of the Year, Darren Forde, has been nominated for the Emerging New Business award at the SFA National Business Awards.
The company, which has installed several life-saving medical units all over Mayo, was among just five nominees for the award - and the only Mayo business to be nominated.
The awards aim to celebrate the achievements of small businesses in Ireland and their contribution to Irish industry.
ULTRAPURE Laboratories, which manufactures wellness products, was the only other Mayo company among the 49 companies selected from 16 different counties
All finalists will have the chance to take part in a strategic management masterclass weekend and benefit from broad-ranging national and local media coverage valued at €50,000.
Finalists also receive three complimentary tickets to the Gala Prize Winning Ceremony to take place in the RDS on March 26, 2025, when category prize winners and the overall winner will be announced.
