A stunning piece of artwork by Mayo student Charlotte Greham is now on public display at the Strule Arts Centre in Omagh, UK, as part of the prestigious Texaco Children’s Art Competition Exhibition.

Charlotte Greham won first prize in the 12-13-year age category of the 70th Texaco Children’s Art Competition in 2024 while studying at Breaffy National School, Ballina.

Her winning work, entitled Inspiration, is among 42 standout pieces from the past two years featured in the exhibition.

The exhibition showcases a vibrant collection of works, ranging from bold and expressive pieces by senior entrants to joyful creations by younger participants.

Featuring talent from across the island, including Donegal, Cavan, and Ulster, the exhibition reflects the diverse perspectives and imaginative approaches of Ireland’s youth.

Themes such as family, movement, identity, and change are explored through these remarkable artworks, offering both inspiration and insight into the minds of young creators.

Hosted by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, the exhibition runs daily at the Strule Arts Centre from 9.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and continues until Saturday, 28th February.

Admission is free, offering a wonderful opportunity for families, educators, and art enthusiasts to explore the creativity of Ireland’s young artists.
