Gardaí in Mayo carried out a significant drug seizure during an operation over the course of Easter weekend.
On Friday, April 18, the Mayo Roscommon Longford Drugs Unit seized what is suspected to be cocaine from a premises in Ballina.

The drugs have an estimated street value of €20,000.
Following the seizure, an analysis will be performed by Forensic Science Ireland to confirm the nature of the substance.
The Garda enquiry into the seizure is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
