Bambie Thug backed by hometown as hundreds set out to watch Eurovision final

Fans of Bambie Thug were all out in their hometown of Macroom, Co Cork to support them for their Eurovision final performance last night. 

The Grand Final of the 68th Eurovision Song Contest took place last night and Bambie came in sixth place with Doomsday Blue having received a total of 278 points from the combined jury and public vote.

It marks the best Eurovision result for Ireland in 24 years.

Bambie had the baking of their hometown last night as hundreds turned out to support their community and back Bambie.
