Voice of Ireland contestant Roisin Carlin, prompted a rare response of four swinging chairs in a recent installment of the novel singing contest, which sees the four mentors judge contestants on their singing voice alone and turn their chair when they approve.
The 20 year old music graduate from Burnfoot, Donegal, has a strong Mayo link as her mother, Catherine (nee) McGovern hails from Robeen, Hollymount.
Speaking about his niece’s successful debut, Roisin’s uncle, Pat McGovern told The Mayo News he was thrilled for her.
