Westport town councillor Myles Staunton has said the newly formed community radio station in Westport, WRFM, should broadcast a monthly meeting of Westport Town Council live on its station at 98.2FM.
Station Manager, Stephen O’Brien, made a presentation to councillors at last week’s monthly meeting detailing progress at the station and Cllr Staunton said broadcasting a meeting live on air would show the people of Westport how democracy works in the town.
