A young Ballina man was tragically killed when he was involved in a single vehicle accident early last week.
Gardai say the 23-year-old Niall Flynn from Cloonaphnia was involved in the collision at some time on Tuesday night. At 8am the alarm was raised and he was subsequently found.
On Thursday evening the remains of Mr Flynn reposed at Hiney’s Funeral Home in Crossmolina before they were removed to the Church of the Assumption, Ardagh. His requiem mass took place on Friday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery.
Ballina Gardai are presently carrying out an investigation into the collision and are appealing for information from anybody who may have witnessed anything.
