The book contains real-life stories of challenge and triumph. It is written by women, although all the content applies to men too. The women bravely share their stories and their strategies for overcoming life’s challenge and achieving a meaningful happy life.
The contributors are of varying ages from various cultures, and a range of different life experiences are covered – including self-esteem and confidence issues, depression, domestic violence, sexual abuse, addiction, relationship breakdown, living with autism, teenage pregnancy, business difficulties, career change and more.
There are exercises throughout the book to help the reader get positive results, even as they read. “We need to help each other up, not beat each other down,” says Donna. “By combining our strengths and resources nobody has to suffer. Everyone deserves a life they can be proud of. It’s up to us to make sure it happens, especially for upcoming generations.”
Donna Kennedy will be hosting a seminar in Hotel Westport on March 28 at 9.30am called Make It Happen 2020. Speakers will be include local man and cancer survivor Paul Coghlan.
