Mutt of the Month
March - Beau
Hello! Have you anything nice to sniff?!! My name is Beau and I’m a Sprollie – Yip, a Springer Collie mix – and boy, oh boy, oh boy, do I love sniffing. I’m about two years old and I have been practicing my sniffing skills every day on my walks and at play time.
From the moment I wake up until I go so sleep I can’t think of anything apart from the games that we could play! How about fetch? I’ll help – I’ll leave the ball on your shoe, so you can throw it again… Yay! And again… Yay! And again….
I came into the pound in Mayo, and ever since then, my tail has not stopped wagging. I’ve wagged my way to the kennels here, but I’m really hoping that my next stop is a super de-duper family home. In case you hadn’t guessed, I like to play with big kids or big people.
I’ve been ever so good, keeping my kennel clean and eating all my dinner – every last bite, especially if it smells extra good, I know when the packet opens before I see it.
Snoozing after a good feed and cuddling together is what I really wish for, so I will close my eyes, wish hard, wag my tail and hope to meet you soon…
Beau is just one of many Mayo and Galway rescue dogs at Connemara-based Mutts Anonymous Dog Rescue and Adoption (MADRA) looking for a loving home. All dogs will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Please see www.madra.ie, check out MADRA’s Facebook page or call or text Marina on 086 8149026.
