The Mill Times Hotel, Westport, is hosting another night at the opera on Saturday, March 6. It promises to be another magical evening of popular opera classics performed by the renowned Drawing Room Opera Company, with music from Carmen, La Traviata and other classics on the cards.
The Drawing Room Opera is one of Ireland’s most-experienced concert opera companies. Since its establishment in March 1997, its members have entertained many audiences – including some rather prestitious names, including former Canadian prime minister Jean de Chrétien, former Australian prime minister John Howard, former taoiseach Bertie Ahern and former American ambassador to Ireland Michael O’Sullivan. The opera company also wowed those who gathered in Galway for the Volvo Ocean Race Banquet last year.
The opera evening in the Mill Times Hotel will start with a champagne reception at 7.30pm, with the show commencing at 8pm.
Advanced bookings are recommended, as there is a limited number of tickets available. For further information, contact the hotel on 098 29200 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
