Joe show rolls into town

Going Out

MUCH MISSED The late Joe Dolan (centre) with his pals, actor Colin Farrell and the late RTÉ star Gerry Ryan after a seven-night sellout stint at Dublin’s Vicar Street in 2006.

Fond memories of the great old days and nights at places like Castlebar’s Royal Ballroom, Charlestown’s The Central, Claremorris Town Hall and Midas in Ballyhaunis will come flooding back when the Joe Dolan Summer Cabaret Show, ‘Remembering Joe’, rolls into Castlebar on Friday, August 12.
The top selling spectacular, comprised of Joe’s brother Ben, his nephews Adrian and Ray and his niece Sandra and Karen Carroll – all backed by the original Joe Dolan Band – promises to have them rocking and rolling in the aisles.
The show marks the first top-class cabaret in the west for many years, and management at the Royal Theatre are going all out by providing full bar and table service on the night. All the big hits will be belted out by the five vocalists on the band, including ‘Aching Breaking Heart’, ‘Answer to Everything’, ‘Good Looking Woman’, ‘Make Me an Island’, ‘It’s You, It’s You’, ‘Tar and Cement’, ‘Ciara’, ‘Goodbye Venice’, ‘Westmeath Bachelor’ and more.

For tickets, contact the TF Royal Box office on 094 9023111, or book online at www.showtours.ie or ticketmaster.ie. Special overnight accommodation rates available at all Castlebar hotels.
