Westport Folk and Bluegrass Festival back live

Going Out

ON THE PROWL The Henhouse Prowlers, from Chicago, are heading to Westport this June.

After two years of online-only events, the much-loved Westport Folk and Bluegrass Festival is finally returning to live and in-person performances, sessions and more. The three-day event will see performances and more in venues scattered throughout Westport – from Westport Town Hall Theatre and Holy Trinity Church to pubs and beer gardens.
The 2022 festival includes 15 different acts from countries like the US, the UK, Germany, Czech Republic, and of course Ireland. The programme will feature pub gigs, concerts, sessions, workshops as well as the famous gospel hour, a fun square dance and the popular mystery gig.
The line-up includes the Henhouse Prowlers (Chicago), Long Way Home Duo (The Netherlands and Utah), the Stillhouse Junkies (Colorado), The Jumper Cables (Czech Republic), CornMaiz String Band (Kentucky), Tim Rogers (Westport), Yonder Boys (Germany) and The SLO County Stumblers (California) to name but a few.

Tickets for the main concerts are now available via the festival’s website, westportfolkbluegrass.com.
