Agnew and Flynn bring Shadowplay to Linenhall

‘Shadowplay’, comprising of Aisling Agnew (flute) and Dave Flynn (guitar) are on stage this evening, Tuesday, October 1 at 8pm at the Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar.
Both Agnew and Flynn are two founding members of the Irish Memory Orchestra.
Aisling enjoys a varied career performing worldwide on a wide range of flutes. She has been broadcast on RTÉ Lyric FM, BBC Radio and Classic FM and has given many high profile concerts including her Wigmore Hall début. Aisling enjoys regular performances with her long-established duo partner Matthew McAllister.
Described as ‘a masterful guitarist’ in Sing Out! magazine, Dave is an internationally recognised guitarist/composer. His unique style draws on his experience in classical, folk, jazz and popular music. He has toured Asia, New Zealand and Europe. The night’s programme includes works by Handel, Schubert, Villa-Lobos, Rodrigo, and Flynn.
