What’s your idea of perfect happiness?

A training session with no fitness work involved.

Which living person do you most admire?
John Ginty. The man’s enthusiasm and positivity is infectious and after talking to him he’d have you believing you could conquer the world.

What’s your greatest extravagance?
My football boots, although Darren McDonnell shows me up big time in this area.

What’s your favourite journey?
A trip to McDonald’s with Oisin Mullin and Tommy Conroy for a McFlurry.

What or who is the love of your life?
My dog, Kobe, or Perrie Edwards from Little Mix.

When and where were you happiest?
Flanagan Park home dressing room after a win – nothing like it.

What’s your greatest achievement?
Winning an All-Ireland with Ballinrobe Community School and a Freshers All-Ireland with NUIG.

What’s your most treasured possession?
At the moment my brother’s razor is saving me a fortune with these weekly chops.

What’s your favourite pastime?
Has to be GAA.

Which talent would you most like to have?
To be able to drive.

What’s the quality you most like in a person?
A sense of humour. Something like Eoghan McLaughlin’s and Jack Coyne’s. Those boys are well able to have a joke.

Who are your favourite footballers?
Donal Vaughan, Diarmuid O’Connor and Philly McMahon.

What’s your motto?
Control the controllable, don’t waste energy on things you can’t influence.
