Pre-match meal?
Depending on the time of match, either scrambled eggs or chicken and pasta.
A good burger from Danolla’s does the trick I hear as well.

Favourite player growing up?
Colm Cooper.

Who would headline your houseparty?
Mayo Masters’ very own Kieran Hastings and Declan Ryan, with support from Cormac ‘Lebron’ McHale. Should be on everyone’s bucket list.

First song they would play?
AC/DC – You Shook Me All Night Long.

You win the Lotto, first thing you would buy?
Buy WhatsApp – a certain group chat could do with being removed and some fellas banned.

Best away day room-mate?
Niall Feehan, the best dressed man in Kilmeena.
He loves a bit of Gucci and is a great man to borrow some clothes off.

Favourite TV show?
Game of Thrones – a very addictive programme. Or the ‘Lebron’ show which is live in Kilmeena most nights of the week.

Earliest GAA memory growing up?
Seán Barrett giving his infamous speech after the Cumann na mBunscoil final.

Who is the joker in the dressing room?
Cormac ‘Lebron’ McHale likes to think he is the joker.

Favourite holiday destination?
Santa Ponsa, a lovely, quiet holiday destination. Andrew Grealis highly recommends.

Most memorable sporting moment?
Winning the West Mayo minor and county championships in one season in 2015.

Who is the best player you’ve played with?
Neilly Ryan or ‘Wooly’ as most know him by. Never a panic when this man is on the ball – cool, calm and collected all the time.

Who is the best player you’ve played against?
Has to be the goose earlier this year.

What’s the best thing about being a Kilmeena footballer?
The craic off the pitch, never a dull moment. Also plenty of numbers given around.

What’s the worst thing about being a Kilmeena footballer?
The size of Cormac McHale’s head and sometimes the water when James ‘Slick’ Keane is off duty, never enough of it around. The rumour on the street is that Mark Ryan is getting brought in to help.

Can you tell us an interesting fact about yourself?
We go through at least 30 litres of milk a week in the house.

Name three things that are always in your fridge?
Milk, milk and more milk.

Best advice you ever got?
That I am the ‘alpha dog’.
