Peppa Pig. I can throw it on the telly at 6am and nod off while Honor (my Daughter) watches it.
Earliest GAA memory growing up?
Training for under-8’s on Keel sandybanks. One of the lads (probably Colm Caff’) filled my runners with sand so I buckled him in a drill. Only time I was ever cautioned playing the game!
Watching Anthony Finnerty blast the ball wide in the 1989 All-Ireland Final was my earliest memory of Mayo.
Who is the joker in the dressing room?
Tiorlach Dever. Constantly on the hand stands and back flips. And talking nonsense.
Favourite holiday destination?
Achill. Plenty of babysitters.
Most memorable sporting moment?
Winning the county title in 2007.
Who is the best player you have played with?
Ciaran Coleman Gallagher. He could score from anywhere. Class act.
Who is the best player you have played against?
Shane McClafferty marked me in the Kevin Kilbane Memorial Cup match last week. He was the best worst defender to play against this year for sure.
Best thing about being an Achill footballer?
We got fancy showers in the new clubhouse, training is packed out lately because of it.
Worst thing about being an Achill footballer?
Getting belts off of Martin Keane every Friday evening at training. He should be in a cage!!
Can you tell us an interesting fact about yourself?
Through my work everyday I get to positively impact people’s lives by contributing to the design and development of medical devices that “Alleviate Pain - Restore Health and Extend Life”.
Name three things that are always in your fridge?
Petits Filous yogurts, duck eggs and Brian Gallagher (aka Millhouse). He has it cleaned out!
