What’s the most unusual thing you’ve eaten?
Myles Kelly’s cooking, it could contain anything. One meal in college made me cry.
My girlfriend Eva OBVIOUSLY, but if she was busy I’d pick Mila Kunis to deputise.
Name three things that are always in your fridge?
Milk, rice-cakes and beetroot.
Your last meal before training and first food afterwards?
Chicken salad before and rice-cake with peanut butter after (boring I know).
What makes you angry?
Being late. Unfortunately most people in life enjoy being late.
First sporting hero?
Andre Agassi. He was a genius on the court and a party animal off it.
One team-mate you’d have in your corner in tag-team MMA?
Cillian O Connor because sometimes his tackling on the pitch can resemble MMA (ask Philly McMahon).
Who is the prankster in the squad?
Padraic O’Connor is dangerous man with a phone in his hand.
Any football superstitions?
I sit in the same spot in dressing rooms.
What makes you nervous?
Jason Gibbons bearing down on my goal. He has the hardest shot in the county.

Who is the best and worst dresser in your squad?
Best: Michael Plunkett has very white shoes and some serious vests.
Worst: Gary Loftus. Luckily his girlfriend Lynn dresses him on nights out otherwise he could arrive in a Man Utd jersey.

Met President Mary Robinson as a child at the time it was a huge deal.
Who is the most under-rated player in Mayo?
Kenneth Keane from Burrishoole.
What do you miss most about being a kid?
Football all day everyday and not being sore after it.
What’s your most prized possession?
My county medals.
Who would you like to be stranded on a desert island with?
Arsene Wenger. At least if he was on a desert island he wouldn’t be managing Arsenal anymore! #wengerout

‘Don’t take yourself too serious’.
Mayo footballer who was your childhood hero?
Liam McHale. As a kid I thought he was a giant.
Best thing about being a club footballer?
Getting to play football with all of your mates.
Worst thing about being a club footballer?
Fixtures, although Mayo is not bad in fairness considering the county team are in championship until Aug/Sept every year.
