A night in, or a night out?
A night in of course.

What’s your favourite TV show?
Dexter. Location, Location Location is another good one.

Name three things that are always in your fridge?
Cheesestrings, Milky Way yogurts and chicken.

Which three guests would you invite to your dinner party?
Stevie Wonder, Meryl Streep, and probably Donald Trump for the craic.

Favourite cheat meal?
All of them.

Who’s your ideal date?
I hear she’s a bit of a lunatic but still Natalie Portman.

What makes you nervous?
Opening a Snapchat from Ger Flanagan.

What’s been your worst holiday?
My two-week retreat to the bog a few summers ago.

Biggest messer in the dressing-room?
You’d want to keep your back to the wall when John Sammon is around the dressing room.

What do you miss most about being a kid?
Those random days where a dog would run around the back of the school, and everyone would lose their minds. Or ‘switching names day’ for the sub teacher.

What’s your most prized possession?
My blue Corolla. An absolute weapon.

Most under-rated player in Mayo club football?
When Kevin Feerick is flying fit he’s very hard to stop. Also Brian Murphy from the ‘Tubber is very solid.

Last time you cried?
Probably losing the All-Ireland Final with the club.

Best thing about being an Allergan player?
Teaching Burrishoole men how to play football.

Worst thing about being an Allergan player?
There’s a Longford man on the team.

‘Take him on!’

Three things you’d bring to a desert island?
As long as I have coffee I’d be grand.

Favourite Mayo footballer when you were a kid?
I used to be mad about Ronan McGarrity. He’d pluck ball all day. I’d say he would have made great use of the mark.

Describe yourself in three words?
Down to earth.
