Obituaries

Feamore, Tulrahan, Claremorris

THE death took place last week of Teresa Trench, Feamore, Tulrahan. Teresa was a popular member of the local community and was predeceased by her husband Luke in 2008. She was formerly Murray from Cloonfad.
Teresa and Luke raised a family of four, two sons and two daughters. They were very much people of the land and they worked many a long day on their farm in former times. Luke was a renowned sheep farmer back in those days and his opinions were greatly valued by all who sought them in the farming community.
Teresa was devoted to her family and was always there for them. She was highly thought of by all who knew her in the district and was a good and kind neighbour who could always be relied on to lend a helping hand. She had a great devotion to her strong faith and the Christian ethos shaped her life down through the years.
Teresa spent the last six years of her life in the kind care of the staff at Brookvale Nursing Home in Ballyhaunis where she died peacefully last week. She will be sadly missed by her family and good friends to whom condolences are tendered at this time.
Removal took place from Donnellan’s Funeral Home, Ballyhaunis to Logboy Church with the funeral proceeding to Tulrahan Cemetery following Requiem Mass celebrated by Fr Brendan McGuinness, PP.
She is survived by her family, Mary Teresa Fitzgerald (Gort), Joseph (Feamore), Una Kelly (Murneen) and John (Galway), daughters-in-law Eileen and Claire, sons-in-law Patrick and Seán, grandchildren William, Dimitri, Andreas, Rachel, Chloe, Anna and Sarah, sisters, relatives, neighbours and friends.
