Paying homage to local talent, Westport based chairman Roger Harley says: “Craftworks Mayo is a fantastic opportunity for those of us who make a living from our craft.  Our main aim is to promote our work both locally and nationally. Working together as a group means we are building a stronger identity around the county and within the county itself.  We have the brilliant support of the funding agencies in Mayo who are assisting us through training and network support.  This is a network with big plans.”
So if you’re searching for an unparalleled, progressive design piece to cherish for yourself or to present as a special gift, the Wyatt Hotel in Westport is the place to be on the 16th and 17th of November.  Remember, every €10 spent on Irish products generates a further €24 in the economy in comparison with just €15 generated from the same amount spent on imported goods.
